I just discover another title from one of the craziest manga-ka out there, Takayuki Yamaguchi. He’s the evil genius that created Apocalypse Zero and Shigurui. The manga is called Akki Goyou Garan, or Demon Order Garan.
From what I can tell, it’s about a guy that wanders from town-to-town kicking people in the face and punching holes in their stomach. Unfortuanatly, only three chapters were ever translated. Below is what I consider the craziest scene of the three chapters.
It’s also worth noting that Takayuki Yamaguchi was one of several manga-ka that graduated from Kazuo Koike’s Gegika Sonjuku class. This was mentioned in the author blurb in Apocalpyze Zero, but wasn’t mentioned on the Kazuo Koike wikipedia page. I took it unto myself to remedey that tonight.
