The past 365.25 days have been interesting. In one year the podcast went from being a quasi-formatted analysis of quirky cartoons from Japan to a random phone conversation between two nerdy friends. Some listeners frowned on this shift in content and left, others found it refreshing to hear people joke about their hobbies.
Although it may be obvious to current listeners and visitors of the website, I'd like to take this moment to state it officially. This is no longer strictly an anime website. I love anime and I still enjoy watching it from time to time, but after doing the formatted podcast it began to feel like a job. That's not cool, man. The podcast will continue as is. That is to say that we're going to talk about whatever the fuck we want whenever the fuck we feel like it. If you've ever listened to the podcast you know that we still talk about anime and video games at least once in every episode, some more than others. I find this format to be a lot more enjoyable, so that's how it's going to be. I'm still going to post pictures of dogs every Wednesday and I'm still going to release podcasts whenever I feel like recording them. I might start posting more written content, but I wouldn't get your hopes up. I'm probably going to change the website name to reflect this change, but I haven't come up with a title I'm satisfied with yet.

Are you ever going to consider adding other writers to the site again?

Yes, actually. I'm thinking about trying again but I would like to start out small first. I'm going to see if I can get in the habit of writing before I ask others to do the same.
