The timing of this article couldn't have been better. It was 30 minutes ago that I was telling Hisui of the Reverse Thieves that I learned to have more respect for women after taking Psychology of Women in college. I specifically mentioned that I try to only say "woman" because anything else would be disrespectful. However, I'm also an asshole with a penchant for irony. Not to mention, the woman in question totally deserves it after the crap she spewed.

I'm not even going to pretend to know who Jules Kirby is or what High Society is about, but when I saw the story Is High Society Star a Racist, Fattist Homophobe? in my Thunderbird I knew that I had to share it with the world.

On the debut episode of High Society, which sounds like an awful show anyway, she is quoted as saying, "I use the N word sometimes... and I really think it should be okay to say." She was also sure to mention that her "friends do tend not to be homosexuals, fat or Jewish people." TV Guide posted an interview with her about the event where she attempts to justify her words, although she doesn't seem to do a very good job. I would embed the video, but I'm unable to do so. Click the link below if you're interested, which you should be because it is hilarious.
