This episode took forever to edit. I’m not sure if that was because I was half-assing it, or if it was because of all the sound bytes that I put in there. I need to come up with a better system for this, cause it probably took me six hours or so to do all of this. I’m not going to pretend that I don’t enjoy editing, but damn. I should be getting paid to do this.
This episode might as well be the all news episode other podcasts. My roommate made a joke about how he should make a podcast about other podcasts. I told him that I’ve basically already done that. This episode is half me talking about this new show Weeaboobies and half news. I guess I have a review or two in there somewhere. But I couldn’t find it. God, I hope people can detect the sarcasm there. I can just imagine someone reading it like, “Oh he only talks about news and other shows. That sounds lame.” Well, its not.
There was just a lot of news that I wanted to talk about. The podcast thing was unexpected though. I had just been contacted by another show that morning and its was pretty much the highlight of that day (I already know I don‘t have a life), so I really wanted to talk about it.
I sort of review Cleopatra D.C. but mostly I just talk about the first episode. It’s a really good first episode though. Before that I talk about the second chapter of Soul Eater. BLACK*STAR. If you want to discuss that chapter you can go to the Soul Eater section of the forums.
The only other thing worth mentioning is the first contest. Its really simple guys. All you have to do is either leave me a voice mail (206-203-2149) or register and post in the forum (more than just one post. The goal is to start some conversations) The first two voice mailers and first three posters get a Yu Yu Hakusho DVD. And no, if you leave a voice mail and post in the forum you don’t get two DVDs. You would be really awesome though.
