As promised, here is the Demon City Shinjuku review. There really not much to say about this episode. Its only a review. The audio quality is questionable and we’re eating ice throughout the whole episode. I’m not going to complain because it took my a few months just to get Chris back on the show. See “Bonus 001 – Wait a minute, a live action what?” for Chris’ other appearence.
Usually what I do is record the episodes on Friday and have them out by Saturday night. I don’t normally work Fridays, and I never start on Saturday until 5pm. Something came up this weekend and I had to pick up a shift on Friday and for some reason I also had to work all day on Saturday. Becaus of this, I haven’t had a chance to watch the rest of Photon, let alone record my thoughts on it. If all goes well the next episode should be out by Tuesday night. I’ll try for sooner but I don’t work on Tuesday and I have some time before work on Monday where I intend on recording.
All is not lost however. I went to Chris’ house last night and we recorded a review of Demon City Shinjuku and the first episode of Genocyber. We also did and hour and a half of randomness where we tried to talk about Cowboy Bebop, but don’t count of that ever seeing the light of day. Think of it as episode 14.5. Also, the first part of Fightbait & Ty will come out on Monday. I have it all “edited” and ready to go. I just don’t want to release it before she does because we’re putting it in both of our feeds. There is a very slight difference in my version. Roughly 30 seconds it tacked on at the end as a stinger. We fully intend to continue putting out content like this but we have yet to decide on a format for the show. Until then you have the three part conversation to look forward to. This will be released every other week to fill in the gaps left by the Weeaboobies new biweekly schedule.
Next Monday the first part of my conversation with Andronore (The Red Circle) will be coming out. I expect that to be cut into 2-3 parts, but I haven’t decided yet.
Well thats all I have for now. If all is well, the Demon City Shinjuku “review” should be out by 10pm. I have to listen to it first to make sure the volumes are right. Also I need to check for overly objectional content.
So here we are. I didn’t really change very much to the format. I mixed the intro song with some clips, which took way longer than it should’ve. I added a new segment, and I’m going to try to do the show notes like this from now on. That last one might not last very long due to laziness.

Wierd. Soul Eater wasn’t totally lame this week. With the introduction of Death the Kid, my thoughts on this series has improved greatly.

SAKURA WARS THE MOVIE
You probably shouldn’t watch this movie. It’s not very good. I guess if you really like Sakura Wars then maybe. Or if you enjoy watching girls pilot robots and have very boring fights with lame monsters.

I’ve been wanted to use the Baki the Grappler end song for this show for over a month now. I was just waiting for the right time. THAT TIME IS NOW! Next week, I’ll be looking at chapter three of Nabari no Ou and the six episode OVA Photon Idiot Adventures. I can’t promise the anime will be good, but if I’ve learned anything from reviewing Katsumi Hasegawa written shows, its really easy to make fun of them.
I should be on Spiraken Manga Review in a few weeks reviewing Girls Saurus, so that should be fun.
The topic for this weeks Whiskey Thursday is living with homeless drunk people. And SPACE!
Be sure to keep your eye out for extra content in the next couple days/weeks. I have over an hour of stuff to release, I just need to cut the shitty parts out of it.
See you next week.

Here is the final part of the SGMS coverage. I’m not sure if anyone is actually listening to these. I can’t blame you if you aren’t. I did what I could to make them interesting, but its just not the same as actually attending the event. If you live in the Minnesota area you should definitely check this out next year. It was a blast and worth every penny. Although, if you’re looking for a standard anime convention it might not be for you. Its essentially sitting in an auditorium and listening to really smart people talk about anime for five or more hours a day, but I’m into that type of thing, so it works out nicely.

I redirected the feed I submitted to iTunes to my Feedburner account. This might cause a temporary problem with anyone subscribed to the original feed. If you have problems all you need to do is delete the feed from your iTunes and re-subscribe. This worked for me, so hopefully if anyone else has problems this works for them as well.
It might also help if when you re-subscribe, you do it manually. You do this by selecting the “Advanced” tab in iTunes and picking
“Subscribe to a podcast.” Then write “http://www.fightbait.com/?feed=podcast” in the form that shows up.
Hopefully no one with have problems, but I figured I would warn everyone just in case.
I suppose I’ve neglected to write this for long enough. Its been a few days since I posted the episode. This is the end of season one. I know its lame to say that my podcast has seasons, but I’m changing the format next week so I figured why not. I’ll likely not call the next episode season two, but I’m thinking of changing things up a little bit every 13 episodes.
I rushed through the editing on this one. Luckily for me I didn’t say “um” very much. The only part that was a little sketchy is the Higurashi segment. I did the recording for that a few weeks ago, and it sounds like I might have been half asleep when I did that. I don’t remember though.
I review Comic Party this week. I tried to do it for my frist episode but failed. I thought that I had failed angain during th recording (as I point out in said recording), but its better than I thought it was. In truth, the show (Comic Party, not the podcast) isn’t the greatest. I like it because it was one of the shows I watched when I was getting into anime. I mean, seriously, its based off a dating sim. Surprisingly, its not a harem. The show is pretty entertaining considering what it is, but by no means groundbreaking.
This Thursday, there will be a very special surprise. Its a little vulgar at times, but thats life. I have the disclaimer at the begining of it, but I really mean it this time. Its not like hentai graphic, but there is a lot more swearing. Anyway, thats all for now. Enjoy the episode!

Here’s the second part of the School Girls & Mobile Suits coverage.
The last part of my coverage should be coming out soon!
Red Devil should not be consumed by anyone.
But don’t take my word for it. Check out this blog devoted to–drumroll–REVIEWING ENERGY DRINKS.
P.S. I’m almost done with the second part of the SGMS coverage. I intend to release it tomorrow.
Hey, I’m only one day late. Yay! I’m not really sure what to say about this episode. I was drinking an energy drink when I recorded this. You can’t really tell, but I’m pretty hyper throughout the whole episode. I don’t have anything else to say that I didn’t already talk about in the episode. Enjoy the show!
